China’s first offshore mobile multi-purpose operations platform, “Offshore Oil 283,” has been delivered.
On April 18, the "Offshore Oil 283," China's first offshore mobile multifunctional measures platform, built by China State Shipbuilding Corporation Wuhan Marine Machinery Co., Ltd., was named and delivered in Qingdao.
The "Offshore Oil 283" platform, also known as "Production Enhancement No. 1," is the first offshore oilfield "mobile production enhancement operation center" in China, developed by CNOOC Energy Development Co., Ltd. It adopts an innovative "mobile + modular" design concept, allowing it to flexibly "commute" between different oilfields and customize production enhancement plans tailored to different facilities and reservoir characteristics. This changes the traditional fixed platform's limitations of single functionality and inconvenient mobilization. The platform introduces a customized AI large model for the first time, equipping it with an "intelligent brain that can think," capable of 24/7 monitoring and intelligent analysis of human-machine conditions, providing intelligent safety assurance for platform operations. After being put into use, it is expected to shorten the production enhancement operation cycle of a single well by 40%, reduce overall operating costs by 30%, and effectively meet the urgent needs of efficient development and production increase in the Bohai oilfield.
The platform is a four-legged jack-up platform with a length of 62.4m, a width of 43.2m, and a depth of 5.8m, with a total weight of over 7,300 tons and a maximum operating water depth of 40m. The platform is equipped with a 4-2500T hydraulic pin jacking system, 50T and 30T offshore cranes on both sides of the main deck, and a living quarters located at the bow of the hull, providing living accommodations for 200 people. It integrates multiple production enhancement functions, including acidizing, fracturing, flooding, profile control, and heavy oil thermal recovery.
