The "Yuneng Kunpeng" ship, which has settled this time, is a newly built oil tanker with a total length of 224.9 meters, a width of 38 meters, a gross tonnage of 41,925, and a deadweight tonnage of 64,896. It is entirely independently designed and constructed by China, featuring advanced technology and high added value in green environmental protection. To ensure the ship can be put into operation immediately after the holiday, the Hainan International Ship Registration Administration made early arrangements and proactively provided services. At the end of the Spring Festival holiday, they initiated work plans, with all staff entering work mode. Through a full-process closed-loop service model of online pre-review, offline centralized processing, and on-site efficient completion, they quickly completed all registration procedures after resuming work. Their professional, fast, and high-quality service allowed the ship to achieve "immediate registration," fully reflecting the high-efficiency service standards of "China Yangpu Port."
The successful registration of the "Yuneng Kunpeng" ship is not only the first ship welcomed by "China Yangpu Port" in the Year of the Horse but also pushes the total shipping capacity of the port to surpass the new milestone of 8 million deadweight tons. As of now, the total number of international ships registered at "China Yangpu Port" has increased to 85, with a total tonnage of 4.6374 million and a total shipping capacity of 8.0368 million deadweight tons. The fleet structure continues to optimize, covering the entire chain of crude oil transportation, clean energy, large-scale engineering, and high-end goods transportation, further elevating the comprehensive service level of the international shipping hub.
The head of the Hainan International Ship Registration Administration stated that the "good start" at the beginning of the Year of the Horse has injected strong momentum into the work for the entire year. The administration will seize the opportunity of the "15th Five-Year Plan" development, continuously deepen the integrated innovation of the international ship registration system, and accelerate the development of "China Yangpu Port" into a more internationally influential and competitive ship registration brand with a "galloping" progress attitude, contributing shipping power to the high-standard construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
