Shanghai issued to promote the modern shipping service industry innovation fund management implementation rules to promote the development of shipping technology innovation

　　The Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission and the Shanghai Municipal Finance Bureau recently issued the "Implementation Rules for the Management of Innovation Funds to Promote the Modern Shipping Service Industry in Shanghai".

　　The "Implementation Rules" propose that project funds mainly support the following aspects: promoting the innovative development of shipping technology, which refers to encouraging the innovative application of advanced technology in related fields such as ports, shipping, airports, aviation, cruises, safety, digitalization, and green initiatives; promoting the innovative development of high-end shipping services, which refers to encouraging innovative breakthroughs in related fields of high-end shipping services, encouraging participation in the formulation and promotion of international shipping affairs governance such as rules, standards, indices, contract templates, or format texts related to international shipping and aviation; major research achievements of the Shanghai International Shipping Center, which refers to encouraging enterprises and institutions to actively participate in the research of difficulties, hotspots, and innovation points in the construction of the international shipping center and regional port and shipping integration, promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the shipping center, and enhancing international influence and resource allocation capabilities; other innovative measures supporting the development of the Shanghai International Shipping Center.
