On April 23, Nansha Port District of Guangzhou Port announced that it would officially open up the whole process of international transit and consolidation, and Guangzhou Port District consolidation International Logistics Co., Ltd. would complete the customs clearance of the first cabinet. This business is the core function of the global hub port, aiming at the pain point that small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises are difficult to transport small quantities of scattered goods in the whole container, by re-assembling international transit goods and local export goods, improve the utilization rate of containers, reduce logistics costs, and strengthen the global distribution of goods distribution capacity. The business covers three core scenarios: international transshipment goods that need to be unpacked in China, imported goods that enter the country in a single box with international transshipment goods, and export goods that are out of the country in a single box. Compared with the traditional mode, the new consolidation mode has achieved three major breakthroughs: giving priority to unpacking and warehousing after goods arrive at the port, and applying for release of import and export goods by ticket distribution, breaking the traditional short board of "one ticket abnormal and whole box stranded"; Relying on more than 170 international direct routes in Nansha Port Area, efficient consolidation and transit of small and multi-batch goods can be realized. Reduce the comprehensive cost of cross-border logistics for enterprises. In the future, Guangzhou Port will take this first cabinet as a starting point to promote large-scale and normal operation of business, build a trinity comprehensive platform of "import, unpacking, export, international transit", and help Nansha Port to build an international transit center that radiates the Great Bay Area and connects the world.
