　　On the same day, Guangzhou Bay Area Consolidation International Logistics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guangzhou Port Consolidation”) completed customs clearance for the first container in the international transshipment consolidation business, marking the official opening of the entire process of international transshipment consolidation in the Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port.

　　Conducting international transshipment consolidation is a core function of global hub ports. Small and medium foreign trade enterprises often deal with small and scattered shipments, making it difficult to transport full containers independently. Through transshipment consolidation, international transshipment goods and local export goods can be reassembled into fully loaded shipments for overseas transport, improving container utilization rates, reducing logistics costs, and enhancing the port's capability for global cargo distribution.

It encompasses three core business scenarios: international transshipment goods that need to be unpacked and repacked within the domestic territory, import goods consolidated with international transshipment goods for entry, and export goods consolidated with international transshipment goods for departure.

　　Compared to traditional transshipment models, the consolidation model implemented this time achieves three major breakthroughs, including prioritizing the unpacking and warehousing of goods upon port arrival, segregating declaration and clearance for import and export goods, breaking the traditional bottleneck of “one abnormal ticket causing delays for the entire container,” ensuring non-interference among different cargo owners and varied shipment directions, and streamlining the processes.

　　Additionally, leveraging the advantage of over 170 international direct shipping routes at Nansha Port Area, this model enables efficient consolidation and transshipment of small-volume, multi-batch South China foreign trade goods, reducing overall cross-border logistics costs for enterprises and making costs more optimized.
