Tianjin has added a new train to Central Asian countries via Alashankou Port, which departs from Tianjin Container Central Station in the early morning of April 16. The goods mainly include auto parts and machinery and equipment, and the destination is Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. This opening has enabled Tianjin to form a logistics network through the Alashankou and Horgos ports, further expanding the land transport channel connecting Central Asia. The "map-based" operation means that the train can realize fixed-point, fixed-line, fixed-number and regular operation, and enjoy the policy guarantee of priority allocation, loading and transportation. At present, the Tu-Ding train in Tianjin via Horgos has realized the normal operation of one train per week, radiating Almaty, Tashkent and other places. The newly added Alashankou line will strengthen the connection between cross-border goods and the Central Asian railway network, which can reach the whole territory of Kazakhstan directly. As an important node of the New Eurasian Continental Bridge Economic Corridor, Tianjin Port strives to build a multimodal transport system of "connecting the east and the west, and helping each other by land and sea". It has opened the China-Europe (Asia) train route through Erlianhot, Alashankou and Horgos, and its traffic volume ranks first among coastal ports. In order to ensure the efficient operation of the train, Tianjin Container Central Station has optimized the operation process, and the customs has also innovated the customs clearance mode to reduce the transit time of goods. Tianjin Port Group said it will continue to encrypt the logistics network and build an international logistics channel connecting Central Asia and Europe.
