The second domestically built large cruise ship has completed its float-out in the dry dock.
It was learned from China State Shipbuilding Corporation that the second domestically produced large cruise ship "Aida Huacheng" completed the dock flooding and successfully floated on March 14.
After the cruise ship "Aida Huacheng" completed the dock flooding and floating, it was moved sideways to the front dock chamber to conduct an inclination test. The inclination test is a core technical step for the cruise ship's undocking, which can determine the ship's weight and center of gravity, closely related to the ship's stability safety and the comfort of passengers.
According to the introduction, this undocking operation will last for seven days, followed by the lifeboat release test and dock cruising, to verify the performance of all 18 large lifeboats and 2 rescue boats under normal and emergency conditions. It is planned to officially undock on March 20, fully transitioning into the system debugging and interior completion phase. Subsequent sea trials will begin at the end of May, with delivery before the end of the year.
