The second domestic large-scale cruise ship "Ada Huacheng" built by China Shipbuilding Group successfully completed the water filling and floating in the dock on March 14, which is an important node in the construction of the cruise ship. After floating, the cruise ship immediately translated to the front dock room to carry out the tilt test, which aims to accurately determine the weight and center of gravity of the ship, which is directly related to the future navigation stability, safety and passenger comfort of the cruise ship. The whole docking operation is planned to last for seven days, followed by decoupling tests and performance verification of 18 oversized lifeboats and 2 rescue boats on the whole ship, as well as in-dock cruises. According to the plan, the cruise ship will be officially undocked on March 20. After that, the focus of work will be fully shifted to the final stage of system commissioning and interior decoration. The project schedule is tight, with sea trials expected to start at the end of May and delivery expected to be completed by the end of 2024. This progress reflects China's continuous breakthrough in the field of high-end large-scale cruise design and construction and the improvement of industrialization capabilities.
