The delegation first toured Guolian Co., Ltd.’s Digital Economy Exhibition Hall, gaining an in-depth understanding of the innovative practical achievements of Guolian and its Duoduo platforms in the operation of industrial digital economy.
At the forum, Wang Ting, Director and Senior Vice President of Guolian Co., Ltd., extended a warm welcome to the entrepreneurs from Laos and Yunnan on behalf of the company, and systematically elaborated on Guolian’s overall development strategy and global industrial layout. He stated that Guolian has been deeply engaged in industrial internet for manufacturing sectors for many years. Its subsidiary platform Wdoodoo covers multiple core industrial chains including paper-making & packaging, natural rubber, textile fiber and renewable resources. Supported by digital trading platforms, integrated supply chain services and smart warehousing & logistics systems, Guolian has continuously smoothed domestic production and sales chains, while actively expanding cross-border industrial business in Southeast Asia.
The China-Laos Railway and the China-Laos Economic Corridor have brought superior geographical dividends to bilateral industrial trade. Equipped with mature supporting systems covering cross-border trade, international warehousing and cross-border settlement, Wdoodoo can fully link local logistics parks and industrial resources in Laos with industrial foundations in Yunnan, building a digital industrial channel for two-way circulation between China and Laos. This will facilitate efficient entry of high-quality raw materials from Southeast Asia into the Chinese market and help domestic processed products expand sales channels across Laos and the whole Southeast Asia, realizing large-scale and digital upgrading of two-way trade.

Mr. Viengkhone Sitthixay, Chairman of PTL Holding Group and Vientiane Logistics Park, spoke highly of Wdoodoo’s industrial digital operation model. He introduced that PTL Holding has long run local industrial businesses in Laos. Its Vientiane Logistics Park serves as a core local cross-border warehousing and logistics hub with complete supporting facilities for land transportation, warehousing, customs clearance and distribution, functioning as a key logistics node along the China-Laos Railway.
Laos boasts abundant natural rubber, bamboo and wood pulp raw materials, yet it suffers from low industrial digitalization, fragmented production-sales channels and high cross-border circulation costs. Mature digital platforms are urgently needed to connect domestic and overseas markets. Taking this exchange as an opportunity, the two parties intend to combine Wdoodoo’s online industrial trading traffic and domestic downstream processing client resources with Vientiane Logistics Park’s strengths in local warehousing, customs clearance and distribution infrastructure, to jointly build a China-Laos cross-border digital logistics distribution center and boost large-scale exports of Laos’ agricultural and forest raw materials to China.
Both sides reached a consensus to establish a regular communication and coordination mechanism for the follow-up period to accelerate the refinement and implementation of cooperation plans. Leveraging development opportunities brought by the China-Laos Economic Corridor, both parties will give full play to their respective advantages in platforms, logistics, industries and resources. Tied together by digital industrial internet, they will deepen pragmatic industrial cooperation between China and Laos, forge a sustainable and replicable new model for cross-border industrial chain digital cooperation in Southeast Asia, and support high-quality coordinated development of the real economies of the two countries.
Also present at the meeting were Mr. Phonesay Thoummavong, Assistant to the Chairman of Vientiane Logistics Park Co., Ltd.; Shan Pengshu, General Manager of Yunnan Zhongjin Group; Sun Qi, Assistant to the Chairman; Zhao Yanxing, Deputy Finance Manager; Li Fengyi, Business Supervisor of the Rubber Division and Head of the Supply Chain Department of Wdoodoo, and other relevant staff.
